Parent & Tot

Parents join their little ones on the ice in this parent and toddler instructional skating program.  ​This program is a half-hour group lesson designed for children aged 18 months to 3 years, who have NO skating ability and are too young for the PreCanSkate program. Children must be able to sit, stand and walk on their own in street shoes.

Our experienced coach will guide the lessons with age appropriate toys, games and props to get these new skaters acquainted with the equipment and fundamentals of skating. 

 

Each skater is required to have one adult accompany the during the class.  The accompanying adult must support and provide assistance for their child.

Equipment

Hockey or Figure Skates, and CSA approved hockey helmets are mandatory for all skaters including the accompanying adult.

Chin strap and face masks (cages) are mandatory for all young skaters. 

Ski pants, Warm jacket & mittens (no thin finger mitts).
